Christian Leiggener, Frédéric Layani, Matthieu Brichet, Frederik Schreve, Olivier Bacher

Christian Leiggener was appointed International Sales Director in January at Armin Strom, which is relying on his previous 16 years of experience in international sales and marketing in the watchmaking sector (notably at Maurice Lacroix, Rado and Swatch) to develop its distribution network.

 

Frédéric Layani returns to watches by becoming the new Head of Marketing at Corum, after spending time in the F1 universe. An expert in CRM and internet, he previously directed digital operations at TAG Heuer and Nespresso.

 

Matthieu Brichet takes up the specially created post of CEO Europe at Graff, based in Paris where the Maison is opening its first salon, bringing with him a wealth of experience in jewelry acquired over 13 years at Fred followed by ten at Harry Winston.

 

Frederik Schreve, who spent 12 of his 15 years of distribution experience in the watch industry (Cartier, Swatch Group, JeanRichard) before focusing on training for five years, became partner to and CEO of Face2Face at the end of 2015. This international specialist in operational and strategic retailing aims to train and coach luxury brands using innovative methods.

 

Olivier Bacher joins Girard-Perregaux and Antonio Calce in the role of Marketing and Communication Director, a position he previously held for five years at Corum and ten at Audemars Piguet after five years’ experience in sales and marketing at Blancpain.


Brice Lechevalier is editor-in-chief of GMT and Skippers, which he co-founded in 2000 and 2001 respectively. He has also been CEO of WorldTempus since it joined the GMT Publishing stable, of which he is director and joint shareholder. In 2012 he created the Geneva Watch Tour, and he has been an advisor to the Grand Prix d’Horlogerie de Genève since 2011. Also closely involved in sailing, he has published the magazine of the Société Nautique de Genève since 2003, and was one of the founders of the SUI Sailing Awards in 2009 and the Concours d’Elégance for motor boats at the Cannes Yachting Festival in 2015.
