June 2015 : Jean-Frédéric Dufour, Riccardo Monfarino, Fabrice Daengeli, Christophe Claret, Sophie Dubuis, Wolfgang Sickenberg

Following his appointment announced a year ago by the prestigious brand with the crown logo, Jean-Frédéric Dufour officially took up office as CEO of Rolex on June 17th 2015, the day of its annual general assembly, during which his predecessor Gian Riccardo Marini was concurrently appointed to the board.

A watchmaker and goldsmith by training, the Italian executive RICCARDO MONFARDINO (right) subsequently took on more commercial roles, subsequently for Franck Muller where he contributed for 15 years to the brand development, before being appointed CEO of MECCANICHE VELOCI in Geneva this April. Having transferred from Corum one week before Baselworld, Fabrice Daengeli is the new Marketing & Communication director at Girard-Perregaux. Prior to that he had gained valuable watch industry experience with both Bvlgari and Jaeger-LeCoultre.

After having entrusted the reins of the company in 2013 to Wolfgang Sickenberg, who is now moving on to explore other professional horizons, Christophe Claret is taking back responsibility for his eponymous brand as CEO, and does not plan to appoint another one in the near future.

We wish a warm welcome to the watch industry to Sophie Dubuis, the new Director of Bucherer Geneva, who has gained substantial experience in the field of hospitality and management over the past years as director of the International Conference Centre Geneva (CICG) and as Vice-Director of Geneva Palexpo.

Wolfgang Sickenberg sets his course to a brand that is a better match for his broad-scale experience acquired over 20 years at Blancpain and then Audemars Piguet, and will now be serving as Sales Director for Ulysse Nardin.
