Eberhard & Co. took an interesting initiative by inviting the members of four European watch forums to create their reinterpretation of the dial of the iconic Champion V model. Forum users themselves made an initial selection among the designs put forward, and the chosen models were then submitted to a jury composed of international specialised journalists. The latter designated the three best creations, for which the prizes were officially presented on the new Eberhard booth at Baselworld by Barbara Monti (CEO) and Mario Peserico (Managing Director). The grand winner of this first Watch Forum Challenge was “Lundi” (a member of forumamontres) who was awarded the number one watch of the new Champion V limited edition featuring a dial based on his own design. The second and third prize-winners, “Meloide” from the orologiepassioni forum and “JMunchow” of watchuseek, each received a Traversetolo. The Eberhard management team has already announced that new challenges are in store for watch bloggers.
