Vacheron Constantin : Overseas

Overseas through the lens of Steve McCurry

Ever since its founding, Vacheron Constantin has distinguished itself by the spirit of travel, rapidly setting off to meet its clients around the world. Reflecting this globetrotting spirit, the Overseas returns for its 20th birthday in a World Time version (see the article) that Vacheron Constantin is associating with the famous photographer Steve McCurry. Together, they have created the  Overseas Tour, bearing unique testimony to our contemporary world symbolized in 12 locations marrying space and time. Revealed in a few carefully selected media”, the six first stopovers feature locations brimming with historical meaning : the Aqueduct of Padre Tembleque (Mexico) symbolizing time for transmission ; Grand Central Terminal, New York (US) signifying time for movement ; the Chand Baori Stepwell (India) embodying time for transcendence ; the Leshan Giant Buddha (China) expressing time for serenity ; the Nyuto Onsen (Japan) representing time for ritual , while the Manufacture Vacheron Constantin portrays time for inspiration.
