Zenith : Official timekeeper

Official timekeeper for car rallies and concours d’élégance

Famous among watchmaking connoisseurs worldwide for its El Primero chronograph caliber, Zenith is well on the way to achieving similar renown among classic car lovers. Associated this year with around 50 automotive events across the planet, the brand with the guiding star that celebrated its 150th anniversary last year is clearly shifting into high gear. Springtime in France saw around 250 devotees of streamlined bodywork and pampered engines set off from Paris to Cannes on the 25th Tour Auto. Many participants were won over by the limited series introduced on this occasion : the El Primero Chronomaster 1969 Tour Auto Edition. Zenith CEO Aldo Magada told them : “We serve as official timekeeper for Tour Auto and Peter Auto events around Europe. We share a passion for fine mechanisms, timeless aesthetics as well as history. And most of all, a passion for competition, great escapes and travel. We want to be far more than a sponsor and instead a real partner.” The same spirit prevailed at the Concours d’Elégance organized in Switzerland at the Château de Coppet in mid-June and greatly appreciated by Swiss vintage car owners.
