TAG HEUER : Raha Moharrak, the friend on the up and up
This mountaineer is not only the first Arab woman to become a friend of the brand, but also the youngest Arab climber and the only Saudi Arabian woman to have conquered Mount Everest and the famous seven highest peaks in the world. There is thus no chance she would “crack under pressure”.
HUBLOT : Match point for Karolína Plíšková
Currently ranked world number 3 in women’s tennis, the Czech player has joined the circle of friends of the brand and paid a visit to the Hublot boutique in Prague – a city where she won the tournament singles’ title in 2015. Known for her attacking game style, she annually serves more than 500 aces in official matches. Perhaps she will soon be nicknamed the “Big Bang” of tennis courts ?
CHOPARD : On stage at the 40th Hong Kong Tatler Ball
A premier annual venue for Hong Kong’s jet set, the Tatler Ball associated Chopard with its 40th anniversary in September. The brand’s Co-President Caroline Scheufele notably presented the Most Promising Young Lady Award to the artist Queenie Rosita Law, founder of the Production Q studio.

At the 47th Artistic Gymnastics World Championships 2017 held in Montreal, for which a model from the DolceVita collection was official watch, the Longines Prize for Elegance was awarded to Canadian gymnast Brooklyn Moors and to Kenzo Shirai of Japan. A white gold timepiece celebrating timeless grace and strength.
DE GRISOGONO : De Grisogono puts 163 carats up for auction
After a traveling exhibition titled The Art of de GRISOGONO, with stopovers in Hong Kong, London, Dubai and New York, Christie’s and de Grisogono staged the sale in Geneva of the world’s largest D Flawless diamond ever to appear at auction, magnified by a one-of-a-kind High Jewelry necklace. The stone comes from a 404-carat rough diamond unearthed in Angola and named the “4 de Fevereiro”.
SHAMBALLA : Shamballa at Montres Prestige
With its name meaning “place of peace” in a reference to the legendary kingdom in Tibetan Buddhist mythology (known to Westerners as Shangri-La), the Shamballa jewelry brand could not have hoped for a finer setting in the Lake Geneva region than the Montres Prestige boutique located inside the Grand Hotel Kempinski in Geneva. Danish brand founder Mads Kornerup welcomed guests there for a joyful cocktail event.
