Birthday : WorldTempus celebrates its 18th anniversary

The traditional GMT and WorldTempus party organized during the SIHH brought together over 600 guests from around the world.

Event organizer at the Hotel Richemond in Geneva, Brice Lechevalier thanked all the guests for attending, as well as the sponsors of the evening, but also the work put in by the entire WorldTempus team, mentioning the rude health of the digital influencer on luxury watchmaking, concluding the year 2018 with a record audience of 3.2 million unique visitors, who consulted 14.5 million pages for an average visit duration of 3.2 minutes. With event management by the Live Teams agency and music by DJ Guillaume Ruchon, these few happy hours of relaxation were the perfect opportunity for the watch community to start 2019 with a smile, allowing an open exchange on the latest trends around a glass of wine from the neighbouring canton of Vaud, offered by the Maison du Moulin, or a glass of Infinite 8 champagne.

Brice Lechevalier is editor-in-chief of GMT and Skippers, which he co-founded in 2000 and 2001 respectively. He has also been CEO of WorldTempus since it joined the GMT Publishing stable, of which he is director and joint shareholder. In 2012 he created the Geneva Watch Tour, and he has been an advisor to the Grand Prix d’Horlogerie de Genève since 2011. Also closely involved in sailing, he has published the magazine of the Société Nautique de Genève since 2003, and was one of the founders of the SUI Sailing Awards in 2009 and the Concours d’Elégance for motor boats at the Cannes Yachting Festival in 2015.
