The epitome of elegance that is as aesthetically powerful as ever thanks to its finely balanced design, the Lange 1 appealed to women well before the appearance of the Petite Lange 1 broadened the circle of female devotees. Today, the exclusively feminine model pursues its winning ways by adopting a pale and yet intense blue dial. To achieve this, the solid silver underplate is coated with a blue background and then a thin layer of mother-of-pearl. This unusual face is framed by an exterior in subtly matching shades (as illustrated) or by a pink gold case on a leather strap. The movement side reveals the distinctive features of the German Manufacture, such as the three-quarter plate adorned with “côtes de Glashütte”, gold chatons held by blued screws, the hand-engraved balance bridge and swan’s neck fine regulation.
