The latest movement developed by Armin Strom is a sophisticated model combining the tourbillon regulator with the in-house automatic winding my micro-rotor system, guaranteeing a generous over four-day power reserve. The latter, inaugurated in the Gravity collection, features an innovative construction that makes it visible on the dial side. The display is highly distinctive with a slightly offset hours and minutes ring, an Armin Strom cartouche on the outer rim at 3 o’clock and small seconds on the tourbillon. The broad openings provide a remarkable view of the contemporary openworking paying tribute to the specialty of the brand founder. The Tourbillon Gravity Fire reflects its theme in a pink gold case with a movement hand-engraved with flame motifs. This limited-series model is delivered with two straps : one in leather and the other in rubber.


Brice Lechevalier is editor-in-chief of GMT and Skippers, which he co-founded in 2000 and 2001 respectively. He has also been CEO of WorldTempus since it joined the GMT Publishing stable, of which he is director and joint shareholder. In 2012 he created the Geneva Watch Tour, and he has been an advisor to the Grand Prix d’Horlogerie de Genève since 2011. Also closely involved in sailing, he has published the magazine of the Société Nautique de Genève since 2003, and was one of the founders of the SUI Sailing Awards in 2009 and the Concours d’Elégance for motor boats at the Cannes Yachting Festival in 2015.
