This Clifton Club Shelby® Cobra limited series is the 16th model in the Blue Editions collection created by the retailer in cooperation with several watch brands and starring the color blue. Blue like the Bucherer logo, blue like the coat-of-arms of Lucerne, the town which is home to Bucherer. For this Baume & Mercier model, the choice is particularly serendipitous given the blue shade of Shelby American and its legendary Cobra Daytona Coupé. The timepiece features a magnificent all-blue sunburst dial, including its chronograph counters. Motorsports fans will note elements borrowed from racing cars, such as the wheel-shaped titanium rotor, the chronograph pushers reminiscent of gas and brake pedals, the Cobra logo on the sweep seconds hand and the 9 o’clock counter, and even the carbon pattern on the black strap.
