When the Bomberg designers are not drawing inspiration from casinos, falcons or samurai warriors, they sometimes also turn to the paintings of the young Swiss artist Thomas Mustaki, notably in setting the stage for the new BOLT-68 automatic chronographs. Featuring colors as varied as the geometrical shapes enlivening the various dials and straps, the collection is distinguished by its oversized hands and its 12 o’clock crown hinting at an evolving watch concept. Delivered with a chain every bit as robust as the overall audacity of these models, BOLT-68 timepieces can morph into pocket watches thanks to their patented bayonet system with a safety catch. Showcasing the quest for time backed by a will to dispel boredom, Bomberg boldly flaunts its generous and transformable designs.
