Bomberg : Afraid of the dark ?

Bolt-68 Skull Badass
Case : steel with black PVD finish and knurling, solid back, chain with snap hook, water-resistant to 100m Movement : mechanical automatic (Sellita SW200 caliber, 38h power reserve) Functions : hours, minutes, seconds, date, transforms into a pocket watch Dial : raised with painted hands and luminescent motifs, including skull and teeth Strap : textured with pin buckle, interchangeable with a chain for the pocket-watch version 250-piece limited edition

In its Skull Badass version, this new Bolt-68 model presented at Baselworld 2015 joins the select circle of watches that exercise an equally strong impact by day or night. On this dial with its baroque, Shakespearean décor, the hands and hour-markers are not the only elements coated with a luminescent substance that shines in the dark : the teeth of the skull are bared in a sinister smile that glows in the ark and the ratcheted bezel seems to have barely escaped from its bites. Like all models in the collection, this automatic version designed by the Neuchâtel-based White studio can be transformed at any time of day by replacing the strap with a steel chain solidly secured to the case by a snap hook at 6 o’clock. Afraid of the dark ? To Bomberg or not to be, that is the question.
