Ah, the beauty of artistic crafts ! A definite trend among watch brands which are more than ever engaged in exploring all facets of this fascinating field. In these models, Chanel focuses on engraving, enamelling and gem-setting – a range of skills highlighted by the Maison through the highly original jewellery watches in the Mademoiselle Privé collection. The facetted décor model is lit up by a constellation of 47 diamonds grain-set against the translucent grand feu enamel base and framed by a case studded with 547 snow-set diamonds ; while the feather décor variation features a black grand feu enamel dial adorned with a feather motif composed of 63 diamonds and 26 pink sapphires. Elegantly draped in a sparkling snow-setting comprising 316 diamonds and 216 pink sapphires, this lyrically beautiful watch beats to the rhythm of a mechanical self-winding movement. A fine encounter between mechanical art and artistic crafts.
