A skeletonized ‘shape’ movement housed in a refined beige gold case : the Boy.Friend Skeleton stems from the Manufacture Chanel, but above all from its unique mindset. A slightly androgynous attitude ; rigorous shapes ; a set of circles… considerable elegance. The Boy.Friend Skeleton Caliber 3 is quintessential Chanel. With its third proprietary caliber, the Parisian Maison is exploring a new territory : that of ‘shape’ watches with powerful horological content. It has equipped its rectangular model – appearing here in a large size – with a pared-down skeleton caliber reprising the aesthetic that is establishing itself as a signature of the Manufacture Chanel : juxtaposed circles, black… and a consummate sense of details. The latter flair is expressed in the slim gold rim accentuating the main lines of the openworking ; in the delicate aesthetic equilibrium between the small seconds and the barrel ; as well as in the solid wheels that lend a sophisticated touch to the opacity/transparency ratio while displaying extreme technical capabilities. Above all, this movement is tonneau-shaped, the epitome of nobility in the world of horology. It makes an extremely snug fit with the beige gold case, creating an aesthetic and technical symbiosis reflecting a pervasive concern for quality.
