The L.U.C XSP model is exempt from any ostentation or pointless extravagance. In creating this limited edition in tribute to the 125th anniversary of the Poinçon de Genève quality hallmark, Chopard had the good taste to prefer understatement rather than impressive demonstrations of strength. To power this rose gold model housing a chocolate-brown dial, the Chopard watchmakers achieved the feat of equipping an ultra-thin case with a self-winding movement featuring two barrels ensuring a 65 hour power reserve and driving central hour and minute hands as well as small seconds at 6 o’clock and a date display at 3 o’clock. This fine accomplishment, which complies with all the demanding criteria of the Poinçon de Genève quality hallmark and is also chronometer-certified by the COSC, elegantly combines aesthetic appeal and horological tradition.
