Visionnaire DTZ win another award for Fabergé (which won the Ladies’ High-Mech Prize in 2015) and Jean-Marc Wiederrecht (Best Watchmaker Prize in 2007, along with a number of other distinctions for watches equipped with movements developed by his Agenhor company) ? One thing is for sure : their accomplished joint endeavor is an aesthetic, technical and functional success. Clearly visible in the center, the clearly visible jumping dual-time 24-hour display is based on a skeleton-worked wheel bearing the numerals and graced with decorations that may be admired through the exhibition back of the gold and titanium – along with the entire caliber exclusively created for Fabergé by Agenhor. The movement is not concealed by the oscillating weight, which is in fact on the side of the dial, beneath the tinted sapphire disk bearing the applied hour-markers. It is swept over by cut-out peripheral hands emerging from the base of the central dome evoking the historical heritage of Fabergé eggs. The appeal of the instantly identifiable Visionnaire DTZ lies in its daring yet unostentatious style.
