Focus: BREITLING

Skyborne triology

With this Navitimer 1 Airline Editions capsule collection, there is no question of time suspending its flight, since it is only available for a limited time from April 2019. Breitling is giving a nod to the achievements of three airlines that effectively launched the boom in civil aviation in the second half of the 20th century, tastefully commemorating their decisive contribution to the art of travel. Three aesthetically pleasing COSC-certified self-winding steel chronographs with Manufacture-made movements pay vibrant tribute to Pan Am, Swissair and TWA. Pilots and other flight instrument enthusiasts will appreciate the circular slide-rule indications integrated into the bi-directional rotating bezel, which are useful for airborne navigation calculations. As Breitling’s legitimacy in world aviation continues to cruise at an unequalled altitude, this clever trilogy brings it close to seventh heaven…
