The Flyback Chronograph Manufacture unveiled at Baselworld 2017 is the first flyback chronograph by the Frederique Constant brand, appearing two years after the one presented by Alpina (which also belongs to the Frederique Constant group). The aesthetic of this new line features the brand’s familiar classicism, as exemplified by the models with a silver-toned dial adorned with a Clou de Paris hobnail guilloché motif, as well as in the variations with a smooth anthracite or chestnut brown dial exuding a more contemporary spirit. Innovation is the very core of the developments introduced Frederique Constant, which is committed to devising creative timepieces on the technological cutting edge and offered at unbeatable prices (this Flyback Chronograph Manufacture retails for less than 4,000 CHF). The new Manufacture FC-760 movement with its modular construction testifies to this inventive quest : its FC-710 base caliber is complemented by a flyback chronograph module comprising just 96 parts, with both elements developed in-house. The classic column wheel has been replaced by a star-shaped wheel and and the innovative clutch is a pivoting component featuring two toothed pivots.
