Several surprises awaited visitors to the Graham “ paddock ” at Baselworld, including the new models in the collection dedicated to the partnership with the F1 Mercedes GP Petronas racing team – and amazingly understated for the British Masters sports brand. No oversized pusher or sculptural crown guard, a case measuring just 43 mm : Graham fans as uber-manly as the rugbymen the brand sponsors may perhaps feel somewhat unsettled, but those who enjoy understatement will certainly appreciate the new Mercedes GP Time Zone models. The only fanciful touches are the Petronas fluorescent green of the GMT hand pointing to the bezel adorned with a Clous de Paris hobnail motif. And since the English drive left, the date window has been placed to the left of 6 o’clock. So it’s all set for a new season of 19 Grand Prix races !
