The Duomètre collection, based on the original Dual-Wing concept consisting of two separate and independent mechanisms linked to a single regulating organ, welcomes a remarkable tourbillon adjustable to the nearest second ! The  Sphérotourbillon represents even more than one of the rare tourbillons to display seconds on a dedicated readable subdial, or the even rarer ones serving to stop this function ; it actually boasts a flyback-type system. For the very first time, small seconds can be returned to zero and the time thus adjusted to an extreme level of precision. The three-dimensional Sphérotourbillon incorporates all the innovations that enabled Jaeger-LeCoultre to win the first timing competition of the 21st century, and unveils its fascinating structure through a broad opening on the grained crystalline dial. Facing it sits the main dial indicating local time and the date, while the small seconds and a second time zone are displayed at 6 and 12 o’clock respectively. The Duomètre à Sphérotourbillon embodies a revolution in the field of horological precision, while adopting an aesthetic inspired by antique pocket-watches.
