Like its name, the watch evokes an aura of mystery, intrigue and seductive charm. The round case and the 12 vintage-style curving hour numerals of the Rendez-Vous collection, launched in 2012, are inspired by the Art Deco movement, infused with a modern twist. The anthracite gray tone of the dial and strap is lit up by 60 brilliant- cut diamonds set on the bezel and creating a fiery contrast with the pink gold case. A delicately rounded aperture at 6 o’clock reveals the gentle dance of the moon, sun and stars, infusing the watch with a poetic touch. Meanwhile, beating at its heart is an exquisitely finished self-winding Manufacture movement encapsulating the watchmaking expertise and concern for detail that Jaeger-LeCoultre has been cultivating since 1833.
