The iconic model of the Jaquet Droz collection, the Grande Seconde – a model born of the brand founder’s imagination in the 18th century – now appears in an ultra-feminine version featuring a mother-of-pearl dial, a matching satin strap, along with diamonds adorning the inner bezel ring, case and folding clasp. The Grande Seconde Tourbillon Mother of Pearl is also an haute horlogerie watch equipped with a fascinating tourbillon mechanism, the first from the Maison to feature a balance-spring and lever pallets in silicon. The properties of this 21st century material guarantee long-term precision. The transparent back of this creation that is remarkable in both design and technical terms, provides a view of the self-winding movement adorned with a fan-shaped Côtes de Genève motif, as well as an oscillating weight personalized with a mother-of-pearl applique echoing the dial, and the two stars of the brand logo.
