Like the tropical poison dart frog that camouflages its fatal weapon beneath an exotic black and yellow skin, the HM3 Poison Dart Frog features a high-tech zirconium case coated in a fine black PVD layer. This dark shade creates a striking contrast with the yellow gold of the screws and the animated rotor, surrounded by a large date disc and driven by a complication module developed by Jean-Marc Wiederrecht. While frogs’ beady eyes allow them to see in several different directions without turning their head, the hour and minute domes on the HM3 Poison Dart Frog have a similar effect, since they enable the wearer to read the time from several angles without turning the wrist.
