The sporty generation of the Polo family, the FortyFive range welcomes six new faces: two feminine quartz models and four automatic masculine options. The latter consist of a perpetual calendar and a chronograph, offered with or without setting. The curve is more clearly defined, while the alternating polished gadroons and satin-brushed surfaces are as visually effective as ever, the integration of the case and strap works just as well as it always did, and the level of finishes has been further enhanced. Entirely developed and produced by the Piaget Manufacture de Haute Horlogerie, the ultra-thin calibre with its vertical coupling-clutch and its twin barrels serves to power several additional functions over a lengthy period: a flyback chronograph, a perpetual calendar at 12 o’clock, and a dual-time display at 9 o’clock. Thus enriched with authentic horological substance and instantly identifiable, the personality of these new Polo FortyFive models makes them stand out from the crowd with inimitable elegance, reflecting a modern classicism that is
liable to prove indispensable.
