After Formula 1 racing driving and tennis, Richard Mille is entering the golfing world by launching into a new partnership with Bubba Watson. Since this year, the golf champion with the atypical profile has been wearing a tourbillon watch created especially for him, the RM 038, and thereby testing its technical functions and shock resistance in real-life conditions. Thus, just as with Felipe Massa and Rafael Nadal, Richard Mille treats itself to a life-sized testbench in this uncompromising sport. The case of the watch is made from an extremely sturdy alloy renowned for its lightness, Magnesium-Aluminium A791. Its movement is also exceptional. The hand-wound openworked tourbillon calibre features bridges, balance-cock and mainplate in grade 5 titanium, making it extremely rigid and thus ready to face up to the most extreme conditions.
