Part of the Jules collection presented by par Urban Jürgensen at Baselworld 2016, Reference 2240 is distinguished by its meticulous finishing, placing the Danish brand with workshops in Bienne at the very pinnacle of Haute Horlogerie. The quintessence of this high-end traditional workshop is thus expressed in this rose gold model with its black engraved Arabic numerals, central seconds hand and date. Testifying to the remarkable expertise cultivated by Urban Jürgensen, the hand-crafted dial features the famous grenage finish that gives each watch a truly unique appearance. Another example of the extraordinary attention that the brand devotes to its timepieces, the blued steel hands – one of which features an asymmetrical ‘eye’ shape in 18-carat solid gold – are chased, polished and assembled by hand.
