After several years of development, Carl F. Bucherer is inaugurating the new line of CFB A2000 calibers entirely developed and produced in the in-house research labs.

The dynamic, sporty and high-performance Patravi TravelTec Black makes a noteworthy entrance into the brand collections. Applied in several layers according to an elaborate process, the DLC coating features carbon’s characteristic lightness and resistance. This original design is complemented by a black dial providing a contrasting backdrop for the lightcolored counters, hour-markers and graduated scales. On the mechanical side, functionality is the watchword with a simultaneous display of three time zones. Two of them appear on the dial thanks to the sophisticated functions of COSC-certified Manufacture CFB Caliber 1901.1, while the third is shown by the rotating bezel with its 24 red hour-markers. The patented single pusher enables fast and easy adjustment of this third time zone when required during an East-West change of direction. To complete the picture, Carl F. Bucherer has chosen to associate with the latest Rinspeed Etos concept car featuring a dashboard enhanced by the Patravi TravelTec Black.
Just as sporty but in the feminine mode, the Patravi ScubaTec White 36m features a sturdy 36mm-diameter stainless steel case that is water-resistant to 200m. This model ideally suited to slimmer wrists is fitted with a white rubber strap that makes a perfect match with the white ceramic bezel. The self-winding CFB Caliber 1950 beating steadily behind the scenes drives an accurate and reliable display of the time, while the rotating bezel delivers the necessary information on dive and decompression times. To ensure optimal safety, the bezel rotates counterclockwise only. Women divers will therefore know exactly when it is time to return to the surface.
The sports collections also feature the Patravi ScubaTec SFV model that reflects and accompanies the high-level performance and perseverance of the Swiss National Football Team for which Carl F. Bucherer has been serving as official timekeeper since July 2016. This exclusive edition specially created for fans of the team picks up the national team’s red color and glows with a black design featuring contrasting red accents. The association’s logo appears in prime position on the pivoting bezel.
In another repertoire cherished by the brand, Carl F. Bucherer enriches the Manero collection with two new models. After several years of development, the Manero Peripheral is for the first time welcoming the new line of CFB A2000 calibers entirely developed and produced in the inhouse research labs. This authentic engine for future development represents an important milestone in company history. It derives its energy from an automatic winding system operating in both directions thanks to a peripheral oscillating weight, an innovative construction principle in tune with the DNA of the Maison, and a direct descendant of the creations that have punctuated its history. was specially designed for the Manero Peripheral on the basis of CFB Caliber A2000. In addition to the central display of hours and minutes, the latest model in the Manero collection also shows small seconds at 6 o’clock and the date at 3 o’clock. This new Manufacture-made caliber is housed inside a 40mm round case in pink gold or stainless steel, which may be teamed with a matt deep black or elegant porcelain white dial.
Elegance and technical refinement are also key elements of the Manero Flyback which is equipped with a sophisticated chronograph movement powered by a column wheel and endowed with a flyback function. This term refers to the movement performed by the chronograph hands when the zero-reset button is pushed during a timing operation. The extremely complex self-winding CFB Caliber 1970 chronograph movement equips a classic round case with a 43mm diameter. The latter is available in pink gold or stainless steel versions and smoothly integrated within the elegant Manero collection. The full measure of Carl F.
